Evan Patak

Although he didn't get to travel with Team USA in Italy for the World Championship, (Opposite Hitter) EVAN PATAK is smart enough to keep himself busy. He traveled to Poland for business (rumor says he signed up to play in Poland for the 2010-2011 club season), then went back to sunny California for the UC Irvine International Tournament and bb impressed a lot of folks! He played for a club team from Korea, they took the SILVER medal and he was even named as one of the tourney's All Star Players. We're so happy for you!

You shouldn't feel bad about not playing with the team in Italy since half of the team DID NOT GET TO PLAY ANYWAYS! Coach Knipe should have just brought 7 players to Italy instead of 14. USA Volleyball could've saved $$$.

Also, we love the tight uniform! We're loving it big time! What size is that bb? Kids L? LoL!
Rumor Update: Evan Patak might be playing in Korea instead of Poland. $mart Idea!

  1. You call playing in Korea instead of Poland a smart idea? You must be considering only salaries then. Polish Plusliga with its stars including Antiga, Winiarski, Wlazly, Plinski, Cernic, Grozer, Akhrem, Ignaczak, Zagumny, Swiderski, Urnaut has an overwhelming advantage over the Korean one, however it's named...
And Patak turned out to be unreliable dumping Kielce two weeks before the league starts...

  3. Well,
Playing professionally in Korea may not earns as much money as in Europe. But there is one thing the Asian Pro Leagus will always have which is the "DEFENSE!!!".

I haven't seen any of Euro leagues players playing any Defense othen than using their Muscle on the hit. mmkaayy. You can be as good in hitting but without D, you`re just useless and def not a whole as a vball player.

There you go, he may want to go to the Asian League b/c those buys play more and better D.
