Friendly Match #3: USA vs BRAZIL!

Brazil won the 3rd friendly match against the USA in front of 6,500 Brazilian fans! 25-20/  25-12/  25-22. 


The Olympic Champs started with Dani Lins, Sheila, Sassá, Natalia, Fabiana and Thaísa. Libero Fabi.


While the Americans relied on A-Glass, Hodge, Larson, Hooker, Bown and Akinradewo. Libero - Sykora.

Last friendly match is scheduled tomorrow.

Was Misty May on her BROOM?

A FAN of MISTY MAY sent us a letter sharing a FORGETTABLE experience with the Olympic Champ this evening at a book signing. We'll try not to say anything but READ THE NOTE BELOW & you be the JUDGE. She must've been on her broom for acting that way. This post is from a real experience. READ BELOW:

"drove by... the store, saw that there was NO LINE NO SIGNS or anything posted... Menlo park is a pretty quiet city to begin with but Keplers books has had A LOT of famous people go there like andre aggassi, madeline albright, next is jimmy carter!

i walk in... there's only a few people there...5 high school girls maybe 3 adults. misty's photographer, i think...she took a picture of us with the book it was our turn to see her...

i kinda stood there in delight to see her... but she just kinda reached for the book to sign it. we shared that we were long beach state alumns too NO RESPONSE... only way we knew she heard is that she wrote Go Beach in our book. told her i was excited to see her..NO RESPONSE... i asked for a hug.... and got a hug.

then we kinda just walked away. as we were walking out i asked the other high school girls, how long they had been there and was misty kinda like 'that' the whole time...and they said yeah and that was that...

there was a restaurant next door that had A LOT OF people there but its funny---no one knows an olympic gold medalist is 100 feet away. i wanted to scream out: MISTY MAY TREANOR IS IN KEPLERS BOOKS...GO AND SAY HI! hoping all the people would make her smile or something.

totally wasn't what i was expecting...from what i see on tv she's so lively and energetic.

if you look at her FB page, she writes: ...I have a book signing tonight at Kepler's in Menlo Park and I am excited to see everyone!!!

im still hoping that i just caught her on a bad day and will give her the benefit of the doubt. i'd like to still picture misty like the lively girl on tv. maybe i'll wait till the next time i see her, to make my final judgemnt if she's an idol or ex idol. they're only human can't put up a happy face all the time. well, then again... this is a book signing...she has to fake it maybe. if i saw her on the street and she wasn't happy, then that's fine... like i said, can't expect them to be happy butterflies 24/7.

by the way im still a fan... would like to see her smile more even if it hurts. haha.
