Exclusive: Paula's Goodbye

Brazil's PAULA PEQUENO gives Coach Guimaraes a kiss after the Coach official announced to the Brazilian Media that Paula will NOT be playing in Japan for the World Champs. Paula was injured at the Grand Prix and did not recover in time for the the tourney. It was a tearful event. Tears.

Paula is OUT!


Sad Sad Sad! This news breaks our <3. Coach Guimaraes has OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED that Outside Hitter PAULA PEQUENO will NOT go to Japan for the World Champs. Paula just did NOT RECOVER in time. Oh No!

The Paula Pequeno Update

Yipppeeee! One of our favorite players from Brazil has 100% recovered from the injury she sustained at the 2010 Grand Prix! Her doctor has released PAULA and she's now back to train with the rest of the team for the 2010 Women's World Champs in Japan! We're so happy! We're so happy!

Friendly Match #4: USA vs BRAZIL!

Team USA lost for the 4th in a row against the mighty Brazilians in 4 sets. 25-22/ 25-20/ 18-25/ 25-20. Yikes! Brazil won all the 4 friendly matches they hosted against the 2010 Grand Prix Champs. Both teams will now return to the gym and continue their preparations for the 2010 World Champs which starts in a month. Good luck ladies!
