In case you're wondering how much $$$ the BRAZILians received after winning the World Champs last Sunday...well well well we got the $$$. Note to Brazil: Make sure you divide the $ equally. Don't be like that has-been setter RICARDO who wanted it all.
BRAZIL got $150,000! Wow!
ENDRES MURILO took home $30,000 for his MVP award. (We bet he took his lovely wife Jacqueline shopping!)
Other players who went home with extra $$$ are:
Best Scorer: Perez (Spain) $20,000.
Best Setter: N. Grbic (Serbia) $15,000.
Best Server: Stanley (USA) $15,000. (Hi Clay!)
Best Spiker: Mikhaylov (Russia) $15,000.
Best Blocker: Simon (Cuba) $15,0000.
Best Libero: Tille (Germany) $15,000.
Spend wisely BBs!

Murilo's #1 Fan!
Well Well Well we think we've found our biggest rival when it comes to becoming Murilo's imaginary girlfriend! Seriously, we asked ourselves "How come she's there and we're not?"! Girlfriend is becoming a STALKER famous volleyball fan after talking to the Brazilian media claiming that she's Endres Murilo's BIGGEST FRIEND FAN!
Meet MIYUKI KIMURA from the beautiful country of Japan! She loves Brazil and most of Murilo. (We're just wondering...does she even know Japan has a men's team? Haha!)
She left her work regardless if she'd have enough vacation hours or not. She's taking so much risk just to see Murilo and team! Miyuki vowed that she'd be staying on the street in Italy all the way to the Final Round! Dang! Girlfriend must be really broke by now RICH!
On a serious note, we truly admire her passion and obsession to watch Brazil at the 2010 World Championship. That's amazing! She's putting her job at risk just to see her idol. Awwwwww Miyuki you can be our BFF! You're such a sweetheart! We respect the passion that you have. Keep it up girlfriend!
By the way, if you're reading this...did you get that POST IT note we left on your forehead this morning when you woke up saying "Murilo loves you but he loves us more!" Hahahah! Just kidding!
Enjoy and take care!

Day Off for Brazil!
We're sad we did not get invited on their day off! Hahaha! But thank god this pretty lady named Letizia Reyes shared some pics of the players who made the most out of their rest day after beating Czech Republic in 5 games. Well well well Murilo and team deserved a day to rest. They've been BOOED working hard since the tourney started. Enjoy the pics!

Brazil: New Setter!
Rezende BRINGS ANOTHER SETTER! Even is the ill MARLON feels better for the 2nd Round, the staff has decided NOT TO LET HIM PLAY since he's not physically ready. He lost more than 5 kilos since he got pre-diagnosed with Chrons disease. Tears. The REPLACEMENT is a TV reporter who has played professionally and he is ALEX OLIVEIRA! (Whatever happened to Mauricio Lucatella?) From what we read, Rezende has NOT yelled at ALEX since he joined the practice. Well you better get ready bb, Rezende is saving his screams when the team plays against Poland and Bulgaria. Good luck! Feel better Marlon!

Brazil's Tournament Bus!
2010 Men's World Champs: FIRST LOOK @ BRAZIL's TOURNAMENT BUS! Sooooo Zeksi! Coach Rezende and team are using (borrowing) a bus from the Italian Armed Forces. Wow! They're so special! We also learned that there's an "officer" who takes the team from their hotel to the competition venue. Wow! THOUGHTS? We wont mind sitting beside Murilo. (Forget Jacqueline! Hahaha!)

It's been a tough week for Brazil and it seems like they are CURSE. Here's their "Curse List": Sergio didn't recover in time, Rezende had ankle surgery, Brazil lost to Germany twice this week, Marlon has intestinal prob, Dante has back muscle spasm and Murilo is not 100% (Coach didn't disclose his injury). Sad for Brazil but GO BRAZIL! |

MAURIZIO LATELLA (Italian born Brazilian) has replaced MARLON temporarily. Marlon, the setter, is recovering from COLITIS. Latella is 35 years old with Zero International Experience. |
